The Rockland County man who was charged with threatening President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Governor Cuomo, and their Democratic supporters lives off $600 in federal housing subsidies and food stamps. How’s that for ironic?
Larry Mulqueen was arrested after his landlady tipped off the Clarkstown Police that he had posted a hit list on Facebook. During their investigation, they confiscated a cache of high-powered weapons and body armor. Previous felony convictions make it illegal for Mulqueen to have the weapons.
Mulqeen’s Facebook posting said that all the president’s followers were “traitor scum” and promised “death to them all.”
Mulqueen’s lawyer requested a psychological evaluation for her client on Tuesday, calling him potentially delusional during his appearance before a U.S. District Court magistrate in White Plains. Federal defender Susanne Brody her client suffers from “delusional ideation” and wants him evaluated before a preliminary hearing in two weeks. Mulqueen admitted past alcohol abuse to the magistrate.
The U.S. Attorney considers Mulqueen a danger to the community and asked that he should not be released on bail.
