I heard today that Dick Cheney altered the electronic settings on his pacemaker/defibrilator to keep terrorist hackers from accessing it via the Internet. It didn’t help, they were able to bypass the security updates. However, when they tried to reach Cheney’s heart itself, they got a 404 ‘not found’ message.

The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York has dismissed a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by a former unpaid intern and Phoenix Satellite Television, a Chinese-language broadcaster. The court says that Lihuan Wang was not a compensated employee at the time and therefore not entitled to seek redress through the civil court system.
